Parisotto / Formenton

Aldo Parisotto (Monselice, Padua 1962) graduated in architecture with James Stirling at IUAV, Architecture Faculty of University of Venice, in 1988. Between 2001 and 2003, he worked as chair professor of interior design at the Architecture Faculty in Trieste. Massimo Formenton (Padua 1964) graduated in architecture at IUAV, Architecture Faculty of University of Venice in 1989. In 1990 they started their own design firm in Padua, in 2004 they opened an additional office in Milan. Their research for a balance of gestures ends up with a contamination of architecture with arts that allows to focus on the sensual experience of space. The studio explores different themes, from exhibitions and museums to private residences, with a wide experience in the design of public spaces and commercial buildings. In two decades they set up important collaborations with main fashion design firms as Salvatore Ferragamo, Amedeo Testoni, Francesco Biasia, Valentino and they designed the new concept for all Nespresso shops wordlwide. Together with architecture comes lighting, that turns itself as a topic for investigation and design, also through professional collaborations with famous companies in the field of light design and lighting equipment production as Viabizzuno, Fontana Arte and Martini Light. Moreover, they designed for main furniture brands such as Minotti Cucine.
